A playful case of synchronicity?

Pedro and Gigi have free reign in the house and we usually congregate in the lounge during the evenings.

For the second time now, we have discovered their toys arranged in symmetrical patterns on the same spot on the lounge floor. Where ten minutes previously perhaps only a few toys had been scattered at random one of them had managed to place the toys into a precise pattern . Although the toys are owned by both dogs, it is mainly Gigi who plays with them while Pedro has one or two favourites which he sometimes carefully carries around. However, we have no idea which of the two dogs is responsible for the 'art work.'

The 'Cross' was notice a few weeks back and is perfectly symmetrical with an equal number of toys on either side on the long axis, crossed by a single toy on either side at 90degree angles.

The 'Square' was discovered last night, just after supper. Before supper there had been one or two toys.

I am not reading anything sinister into this, so those anal sceptics can relax but to the woo-woo society I can say that this is exquisite serendipity, won't you agree?

And... no, I didn't play with my dogs' toys.
